Trick or Treat!

It's October already where witches go riding, black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, 'tis near Halloween!

I have been rounding up my Halloween resources and have found some more spooky ones too! Below are a few of my favourites!

Halloween Sheet Music: Students can learn some spooky themed pieces or create their own!

  1. Piano Pronto: Some lovely solos, duets and trios. You might find some freebies too!

  2. Piano Song Download: Julie Lind has some interesting pieces arranged for beginners - early intermediate level.

  3. Compose Create: Wendy Steven's compositions all themed to Halloween

  4. Bewitched!: 11 Magical Pieces for Piano [Book]

Halloween Games and Worksheets: So many! We love playing games at the studio and there are so many options out there. Remember to use them online too!

  1. Susan Paradis: Halloween Bingo (Bats and Cats), Note Reading Halloween game, note reading worksheets etc

  2. Colorinmypiano Joy Morin: Trick or Treat game

  3. Myfunpianostudio: Free worksheets on different musical concepts

  4. Pianimation: 12 days of Halloween (composition and listening), song starters, candy interval bingo

  5. Colourfulkeys Nicola Cantan: Creepy corridor (intervals) game, Pumpkin patch (note reading)game

  6. Teachpianotoday: Halloween improvisation, note reading, rhythm activities, practice aids etc

Halloween Listening:

  1. Colorinmypiano Joy Morin: She has put together some Halloween themed pieces. I will definitely play them as students enter their lessons!
