About Shanelle
Shanelle Rodrigues is a teacher, pianist and lifelong learner. Previously working as a senior faculty member at Furtados School of Music (FSM), she now tutors students at her own studio – ‘Shanelle’s Piano Studio’ in Madrid, Spain and online. She teaches classroom music and group piano at two schools in Madrid, Spain.
Shanelle completed her Master's degree in Music Education from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, U.K in 2022 and joined the university thereafter as an overseas consultant to promote specialist courses for music teachers and leaders in India. She has previously studied piano with Mrs. Charmis Braganza in Mumbai and Russian pianist Tatyana Dichenko. She now learns with Swedish pianist Emma Gilljam Tillu.
Shanelle is a collaborator with 'Out of the Box' through Offset Education which is a music education property supporting education and creative development of learners and educators. She is the co-host for the podcast which highlights the trends in music education in India. Tapping her creativity even further, Shanelle is engaged as a content manager for Pianoma - a music school based in Spain.

To guide teachers towards certification, Shanelle was part of a webinar organised with Trinity College London in 2020 which highlighted the process for obtaining the ATCL teaching diploma. Shanelle also enjoys collaborating with The Friendship Cabin in the U.K. (charity organisation) to provide music, live performances and activities for their members.

Additionally, Shanelle is an accompanist to various students appearing for examinations or concerts. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, trekking, painting, crochet and watching football.
